What does a DIY+1 do?
Depending on what your project needs and depending on the abilities and strengths of any particular helper, a DIY+1 might:
Get you started with ideas on how to approach a project, and help you develop a game plan (this can include what tools, materials and quantities you’ll need to get the job done).
Work with you at the start of the project until things start to flow and you feel ready to DIY
Jump in when another pair of hands will speed things up and help keep things moving
